It started with a favor. In 2000, the Guerra family from church needed music for their wedding. No contract, no fee. Just someone who loved music and wanted to serve.

December 2001 is the official start: your DJ's first event, his sister's quinceañera. One night, one room full of family, and a lesson that stuck. A celebration lives or dies on whoever is holding the microphone.

Nobody in Houston was doing this then. Families who wanted a DJ who shared their faith had nowhere to turn. There was no strictly Christian DJ in this market. We learned it by doing it, and we led the way while others watched. Some of them run their own companies today.

For 17 years, your DJ poured himself into a different craft: welding, fitting, and quality control across some of the most demanding industries in the world, including work for SpaceX. The events never stopped. It was never a business, it was something we did because we loved it. No advertising, no campaigns. Families we had already served told other families, and the phone kept ringing. Fifteen years on referrals alone.

In 2026, for the first time, it became a business, on purpose. Registered under Laodicea Media LLC. Same faith, same music, and a history no newcomer can manufacture.
